 I did this link up last Sunday and it was so fun. I know I've done two today (Sunday Social and this one ) but they are so much fun. Plus, the His and Her link up gives me a chance to make Richard sit down and answer questions even though he's busy at school today! What is something weird your spouse does while asleep? *we've only ever spent the night together once so it was somewhat hard to answer this! 

His: She steals covers and is all over the place at night!

Hers: He snores really loud.

His: Pride 

Hers: Sadly, probably envy. 

What was your favorite hiding place as a kid? 

His: Trees. (Why is he so boring)

Hers: In the back of my parents closet! or I would crawl up the shelf in the bathroom and hide on the top shelf so I my parents couldn't yell at me! 

What music artist do you love that your other half hates listening to?

His: Eminem! <--- I definitely hate him! 

Hers: George Strait!! Richard hates twangy country! 

What has your other half recently done that made you love them more? 

His: She calls me all the time. 

Hers: He made time for a skype date last week!  

What is your favorite hole-in-the-wall place to eat?

His: Hickory Hut BBQ

Hers: Oh Lanta, he would eat there every day if he could. He literally does eat there everyday when he comes home on break. My favorite place is Grandma Max's...we have a special booth there :) 

What do you admire most about your significant other?

His: Her caringness for others and her red hair ;)

Hers: He's always so determined to get things accomplished. No matter how mean I am about having him go to school so far away he still continues to go so that he can provide for our family once we reach that point. I really admire his drive and compassion for getting something finished!

Ideally, where would you like to be five years from now?

His: Working in an exercise science program as a trainer at a University somewhere. Oh, and happily married...

Hers: He's such a butt! Definitely married and living happily together, hopefully still in Kansas!

His: I do.

Hers: He thinks he does!

I came across this link up over at Love, the Grows and thought it would be something fun to do with Richard because he is so far away and I haven't seen him in three weeks. I know that really isn't long but we don't get much time to talk between school and me working full time and him being on the training staff at college. It's rough but I know deep down we can do it. His answers are so silly. I don't think he takes much of anything seriously when I talk about blogging! Enjoy!

R: Playing football in the cul de sak with all my friends back in Virginia
A: My friend Autumn and I used to dance together and on our way to dance class we'd sit in the back seat of her mom's car or my mom's van and talk about old grannies in pajamas. I have no idea why that was so funny but every week we would sit back there cracking up over it!

Blog Star: Facts About Me

Hey y'all! My last post was quite a heavy one. I shared my testimony with you guys which was quite a big deal because I have never shared anything like that on the internet with people I don't know! But I'm so glad I did and even if I touched one person's life that is absolutely fabulous!

So today I thought I would share some things about me that are on a little bit lighter note. I'm linking up at Mrs. Monologues for the Blog Star link up! So I'm just going to share a few things about me that I think are vital in getting to know my personality!

1. I'm obviously a ginger. I will show you pictures from when I was little and it has stuck with me all my life! That's my Bunny in that picture. I adore that bunny, he went with me everywhere and always had a diaper on. No naked bunnies over here! I have the temper and attitude of a ginger too. Don't cross me, I promise I will not be nice. I really don't try to be mean but I just don't take other people's crap. Treat others with the respect you wish to be treated with.

2. I just bought the Canon T3i! Best choice of my freakin' life! For serious! Please excuse my awful hair and smeared makeup. I would appreciate your support considering I don't have to look especially pretty for anyone. I do what I do.

3. If society would allow it I would wear sweats constantly. You don't understand. I. Love. Sweatpants. I hate jeans, I just want to feel comfortable. I almost wore sweatpants to Richard's senior prom. That is no lie. But I decided I would look like a glowstick instead. Yes, he is wearing a lime green suit. And yes, it is his forever, God help us all. 

4. I obviously love Idgit. You have probably already guessed by now but if you haven't, he is the only thing I have to take pictures of with my new camera. I hope you like cute grey kitties!!!

Well sorry y'all had to endure some awful shots of me. I have to admit though I was quite presh as a child! I hope you guys linked up too..I'd love to know more about you, star! 

It's Okay Thursday [The Boyfriend Moves Away]

Hey guys! Well Richard left to go back to college yesterday. Blah. The night before he left I took him to dinner at a little restaurant in our town. It's actually a 24/7 truck stop but the food is bomb and they have breakfast all the time. So we sat in our favorite booth and watched the Olympics together and then drove around town looking at cars for sale. I can't believe it's already time for school to be starting up again! Anyways, here are my It's Ok Thursdays!
It's Okay... ...that I'm really excited for payday so I can get the Canon t3i soon. I'm crossing my fingers I have it by the end of the month.
...that my house is a wreck cause my dad is on vacation this week and isn't home to yell at me for magazines laying on the floor and shoes by the door.
...that I think Michael Phelps is a butthole and I'm glad this is (hopefully) his last Olympics. I think he is too stuck up and I don't think he is attractive. At. All.
...that I think Michael's teammate, Ryan Lochte, is a total freakin' hottie.
...that I may or may not have cried when the U.S. Women's Gymnastics team took overall gold.
...that I cancelled my Glossybox subscription this month.
...that I've changed my blog design three times in the last two weeks, I'm just tweaking, yo!

What's okay with you this Thursday?

Would You Like Some Cheese with that Whine?

Ohhh my lanta, just a forewarning this post is about me whining. Go figure. Saturday sucked. First off I spend most of the afternoon at a car show with R. I actually like going to car shows but it was soooo hot. So. HOT. And they didn't have cheesecake on a stick which is half the reason I go! I was upset to say the least!

Also, I'm sure you've noticed the blog has a little different look. My other template was one I found and just added to get the blog up and running but I knew I wanted to create my own. So today I spend the rest of my whole day tackling that task. Let me know how you like it! I'll probably be tweaking it forever, kinda like one of those never-ending projects. Oh and, I have also added a sponsor page. I knew that was another project I needed to tackle and I did that today too using Passionfruit ads. After the car show and blog work, I came home to make R some enchiladas, he wanted homemade food before he left for school. So I then tackled that task. And cleaned the house some. Blaaaah.

Oh and yes, I forgot to tell you. My camera BROKE. Will. Not. Work. I had planned on getting a DSLR around Christmas. The Canon t3i to be exact buuuut now I might just get it this month and make the ol' budget a little tighter cause there are a few events coming up that I would like a camera for. I'm kinda upset about this little situation today. I had an Olympus point and shoot and it'll turn on and zoom in and out and in and out forever and when it finally stops it is a huge blur, the lens won't focus, zoom, or really do anything :( booooo.

Hey Guys! I have been planning a post for y'all but I'm waiting on something before I can write it so I'm going to link up to It's Ok Thursdays in the meantime. Besides this week is kind of blah. So let's just make it short and sweet and don't forget to link up yourselves!
-It's okay that I've been sick literally all week and don't foresee myself getting well by this weekend. -It's okay that I'm kind of excited about going to a car show this weekend when it's going to be 110 degrees outside.-It's okay that I'm super stressed out about the fact that Richard is leaving for school next Wednesday and will be four hours away from me. -It's okay that all I want to do is lay here with my cat.-It's okay that I'm lusting over a $900 camera and plan on getting it by Christmas.-It's okay that I cry every time I hear about the Batman shooting and it's victims :(-It's okay that I'm seriously dreading the start of school...again.
